This is the best time of year for a football fan - right BEFORE the season starts. It's the time where the fans soak in visions of their team's upcoming glory, gear up with team apparel and naively boast to friends about how this is THE year. We disregard any media information that may not be congruent with the dream season we are certain to be forthcoming. The release of veteran Greg Ellis, superstar safety and five-time pro-bowler Roy Williams and high profile T.O.? What's that about college football's winningest program sealing its first losing season since 1967 and snapping a 33-season bowl streak last year? Old news, my friends, old news. So to all my fellow football fanatics, I say to you, enjoy the next few undefeated days and remember - someone has got to win it all!
